2022-23 NFL Conference Championship Games Feature Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic Alums

ARLINGTON, Texas – The penultimate weekend of the 2022-23 National Football League playoffs is slated to feature 20 Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic alumni across the active rosters of the four participating teams.
 
The Cincinnati Bengals with seven lead the way featuring the most Cotton Bowl Classic alums. All four teams vying for a spot in Super Bowl LVII boast at one Classic alum on their active rosters.
 
Among the alums set to be on the field and sidelines this weekend are Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, who starred for Nebraska in the 71st Classic in 2007, and San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans, who earned the Felix R. McKnight Trophy as Defensive Most Valuable Player in the 70th Classic in 2006. 
 
Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., is set for Sunday, Feb. 12 on FOX.
