Biography
Texas A&M senior safety Steven Terrell was a great asset on the playing field and in the classroom during his time as an Aggie.
Terrell’s academic success earned the Allen, Texas native spots on the Academic All-Big 12 first team his sophomore and junior seasons, as he maintained at least a 3.2 GPA since his freshman year. Terrell graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a minor in business administration with a 3.242 cumulative GPA.
He produced four career interceptions, including two in his senior season for 58 yards. Terrell started at defensive back for the Aggies in all 12 contests during the 2012 season and recorded a career-high 58 total tackles with four for loss. His two forced fumbles as a senior tied for second among team members.
Terrell, a team captain, was part of a senior class that compiled a 33-19 record overall and led the Aggies to their first 10-win season since 1998.
